Bucks dropping their bone.

Shot what I thought to be a nice doe at last light and come to find out it was a buck that shed both antlers. The pedicels were both bloody as they were not dropped very long ago. Kinda sucks to take out a young buck for sure.

Speaking of dropping horns, I checked out the Brownsville Deer Pantry and saw a nice eight that already lost one side.

A few years ago I shot what I thought was a doe on opening day of southern rifle season. It had already dropped its antlers, bloody bases. Go figure.

Watched a fair size deer with no horns chasing doe yesterday afternoon.  Not sure what's going on. This one, I"d like to find his sheds
