Climbing sticks

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on climbing sticks. Do people like them? Which sticks are the best? Just wanted to hear what people thought about them.

It all depends on the tree.  I like them in like a thinner maple or pine but I do not use them on a real thick oak.  I actually prefer steps over anything but an extension ladder.  If I do not use an extension ladder I use tree steps..........

Lone Wolf's climbing sticks are incredibly light and easy to use. They're also probably the most expensive on the market.

I use a climber right now and it's just so heavy so im looking into something lighter

These are identical to Lone Wolf's.  Thinking of pulling the trigger on them.   currently I have a full ladder stick and looking to replace with something more portable.

Muddy fit that bill.  Although the LW steps can be flipped from side to side.  LW won't work if you are trying to get two feet at the same level though.
