Just wanted to drop in and say hello. Just moved back to NY after six years traveling around with the Army. I live up in the Queensbury/Glens Falls area and would love any advice or insight into the public lands up here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There's plenty of public land mere minutes north.  Hell, you're standing on the doormat of largest public park in the contiguous United States!

check out padanarum or wardsboro that where i hunt when i go up there its about 15 mins away from my house in bolton landing. huge area tons of predators not many deer, also alot of good small game hunting rabbit grouse ect...
