growalot
I went 1400ft into the woods but it might as well been 5miles....Went down and took 2ft of snow off the cardboard blinds roof and the deck...the snow was up to my knees but the whole area is drifted so at many points I was plowing mid thigh and waist deep through snow...LOL Angel went with me and continously walked on the heels of my boots for it was over her head...Thankfully she stayed ahead of me on the way back but looked so funny...like she was running tires at a football camp...trying to get all four paws in my foot prints...we'll both sleep sound tonight! edit(sp) Edited February 10, 2015 by growalot

growalot
Lol I can tell you it took a long time with breathers...then after cleaning the deck and roof...I had to sit a spell in that comfy armed office chair....Angel hung put under the blind where the snow wasn't as deep....the only tracks in those woods other than mine were mice! Zag
Yeah my dad said its been like the movie groundhogs day, everyday it was the same routine, plow the drive way, clear paths to the sheds and clear snow off the roofs.

growalot
We have several large pine "plantations".but the swamp areas around us are naturally warmer and have less snow accumulation.
