if so, what region are you in and post some pics. Usually in may i start seeing them sprout and can tell  them apart from the the does that may have a fawn(s) brewing inside.

should have nubs off the pedicels by now.  I'm in 4C.  should have majority dropping within the next week or two.  a lot more bucks were passed in our area last season.

Had one walk by turkey hunting up about 1.5 inches all ready.

Right. It is a good, interesting and fun way to chronicle individual bucks too. But they never (rarely) make it past 2.5 years.

Out trying to roost turkeys tonight when I was surprised by a bachelor group of 5 bucks browsing in the overgrown field...

Couldn't get them al in the same frame so I picked out the two that were closest and worked best for my liking with these shots.

He's the same one as the one in the 2'nd and 3'rd pic..... but yeah, I think he's one of the monarchs around here and hope to follow up with more shots of him as summer rolls on!

The survivors of 2015 winter will fatten up fast now.

If you see them now,  you know they made it. Scruffy coats are normal now.
