wolc123
Kind of gross looking antlers, but I really liked the song, definitely one of my all time favorites and delivered by one of my favorite singers. I will have to put some lily pads in my pond. They also make great cover for bass.

thphm
I Wouldn't consider seaweed poor food quality. Makes good fertilizer thou. . I can tell you in this weather you cannot go wrong digging a little watering hole in the middle of the woods. As yesterday I wrote this in another post. I kicked up Mom and her 3 young from last year that were bedded near where I was working. They got up and walked about 75 yds. Into a little hole I dug with my bucket loader last summer , Just 6' wide x 8' long x 1-1/2' deep that is wet weather spring fed. They were in there 5 min. or more drinking and cooling off before they got out and went looking for food to eat. Last year I had turkeys, fox, birds and other animals around or in it also. growalot
I never make a food plot that I don't install a water source near by...bath tubs, dug holes, cattle tubs,or small garden ponds...DE keeps the page growth down and a tiny amount of dunk for skeeters...a small solar water fountain works great in one corner...clean them each spring.
