My friend's son shot this 8 pointer this morning in Bethel.  The buck was with 7 does an a 13 point buck that they know of.  He coudn't get a clean shot at the 13 and shot the 8 before the deer all walked out of sight.  He and his dad tracked the buck for 2.5 hours before finishing him off with another shot.  His first shot was in the hind quarter but perseverance and dedication to finding him paid off.  Congrats on a nice buck buddy!!

Like I said they know of the deer and have seen him numerous times during bow season and trail cam pics.  The kid knew which deer it was because he had him in his scope but couldn't get a clear shot.
