RangerClay
Not sure what happened after that hard winter but ever since I have had a serious mole problem. Little mounds of dirt everywhere and my lawn looks polka dot. Friends tell me to poison the grubs they eat. Can anyone suggest a good brand of poison or a better way of dealing with these destructive critters? Who here has dealt with them before? Nomad
Here's my moler.... I've tried all the homemade tricks. One thing that worked ok to a point , was a mouse trap On each side of each hole. Got 6 the first night.
ants
My neighbor uses mouse traps.I use my swimming pool. I fished 2 out this morning. Between the 2 of us we must kill 25-30 every summer and they just keep coming, I tried the grub killer in the past but it didn't seem to help one bit.. Good luck. Carbonelement
any granular or liquid pesticide containing imidacloprid (merit), trichlorfon dimethyl phosphate (dylox) or carbaryl (sevin) will kill them. make sure they are watered into the soil esp merit and dylox because they are photodegradable. those three are top choices with imidacloprid being the best, but other things such as synthetic pyrethroids will work but not as good. trade names are in (), and the ai is first. Carbonelement
if controlling the grubs does not work look into a product called "Mole Scram" or use a bait/poison like talprid Edited June 6, 2015 by Carbonelement
Nomad
No bait just set them close to hole , one on each side.
Fletch
I have them wicked. Do not want to use poison due to kids/pets. Trap next to the holes? All I have is mounds of dirt no holes in it. Then next day more mounds.
