45-70 for dinosaurs?

he sure did keep that thing close in the movie but not once did I see it do anything significant to any dino.  they use all kinds of stuff on the dino yet I think a 50 BMG or similar to the head would've worked.  I thought it was a good movie.

I had a kind of funny thought when I saw it.  After hunting gators for a few years, when they first showed some of the dinosaurs I was sizing up the tail meat...

I think you're right. A 50 to the head instead of those electrorods would've scramble it's brains.

I can't think of one critter walking the earth today or ever that could survive a head shot from a fifty cal. Dino's were not really that tough anyway. They all became extinct!
