Snow tomorrow

So looks like LI and downstate will be hit with some nice snow tomorrow.  To be honest, I'm looking forward to it!

Yea, about a foot by me in East Northport maybe more. I'm off all week so Let it snow let it snow let it snow.

Just as a side note, I lived in east northport till I was 5 years old.  Adar lane (not positive on spelling)...  Whats burned into my head ever since then, is the "tick tock" and Cedarhurst paper...  I'll be heading out there monday / tuesday actually to go to Karps hardware for some home brew equipment.

Just out of curiosity, why would you be looking forward to it? Are you a snowmobiler or a skier or something?

Because I am off all week & don't have to go anywhere.... I love snow, don't mind shoveling / snow blowing...  I wish I was a snowmobiler, maybe down the road

It's nice in the burbs but in the City this much snow is not good. I'm off all week and don't have to travel in the City. Tthe snow turns so gross and dirty in a couple of days.

Those that are looking forward to a day or two off from work because of snow-days ...... I can understand that. Snowmobilers, skiers and snow-shoers, I can understand that. Just enjoying snow because it's snow? ...... That's a little harder to understand  . At any rate, we certainly live in the right state for snow lovers. We get some annual accumulations in several parts of the state that are the envy of snow lovers all over the country....lol.

Also I am a skier.  But it looks like I am too far north to get any serious impact, though local news is still saying up to a foot...

I got 22 inches here, and drifts up to 5 ft, light in front of my door lol.

We didnt get much snow, but man was it cold and windy last night. I went out predator hunting last night and I think my face just finished thawing out.  ???

i got 15+ over by me in lake grove... got it pretty good. took the outlander out this morn with the plow to push some of this snow. im thinking of going out hunting tomorrow eveneing. not sure yet tho
