Anyone else use it??? What in the hell did they do to it??? It was awesome before this upgrade... now it sucks... I think... Anyone liking the change???

I just use it to pin my stand locations and use the scent cone feature sometimes. The log Feature I tend to leave alone as I write in a journal when I get back into my truck. It also has weather and radar... along with topo mapping.

I like it because its easier to look at the details for each stand location. I can also add in camera sites and all that too.

 

What are you having trouble with?

Seems when I go through from my phone it locks up... Another annoying thing I find is when you go to one stand, you don't see the others.... You have to click on each one...

Yeah the way the other stands disappear is a little annoying. I like the other new features better though.

 

If its locking your phone up, Id make sure you have the newest OS on your phone, then reinstall the app.

When it tried to upgrade it never really worked at all.

So I switched to Hunt Stand

Under the current weather tab for any location it is towards the bottom right above moon phase. I like the new one better the more I use it.

Also, I have used the deer log, and it is very useful to get the spreadsheet of all deer sightings from the online version after the season, gives a good recap and helps remember the little things.

Its still there. Just tap on the weather portion of the info box and scroll down a bit.

I'm with Grizz...I like the old version better..just seemed more user friendly.

In the old version, to get any info on the stand you were looking at, besides the scent cone, you had to go t the edit function. That was horrible. I use the notes section for each one to keep track of when we hung the stand, changed straps, etc. This version, its all right there. I didnt like it at first until I played around and figured it out. Once you get used to it, its a ton better.
