Mock Rub

You may have heard of mock scrapes- but how about a mock rub?

I read about this in a hunting mag this fall. Decided to try it. Works, just no big bucks.

That is really neat! It seems the deer are so curious over this tree all rubbed up, what type of scent did you put on it. Great way to get them to stop for a shot. Unlike a scrape that could be put in the same area this is visible across the field to them.

That is such a neat idea to place a RUB in a location that would be advantageous to your stand . The only other fake rub I had seen was a garden claw to mark up a tree but this is so much better .

How often did you freshen the scent that you put on the rub ?

never did. I figured that once a buck used it I wouldn't need to

man that is cool how all kinds af animals hit the tree.It is like a Fast Track gas station in the woods.

I got to get my self one of those cams next year.Loads of fun.
