sampotter
You may have heard of mock scrapes- but how about a mock rub? I read about this in a hunting mag this fall. Decided to try it. Works, just no big bucks.

First-light
That is really neat! It seems the deer are so curious over this tree all rubbed up, what type of scent did you put on it. Great way to get them to stop for a shot. Unlike a scrape that could be put in the same area this is visible across the field to them. fasteddie
That is such a neat idea to place a RUB in a location that would be advantageous to your stand . The only other fake rub I had seen was a garden claw to mark up a tree but this is so much better .
