Youth ATV's - Anyone try / use one of those cheaper Chinese units?

It looks good! Not what one would expect for a Chinese product. A little curious why lock washers and Loctite were added to the hardware.

I did it for the stuff that could rattle free. Like the rack on the back and some of the muffler mounting bolts.

The best hing about those things is if the engine quits you could just get a new one from harborfreight for cheap. The HF's are a honda knock off and have only heard good things about them.

Yeah that is what this engine is too.

VERY NICE….I got my little guy one for his 10th birthday (he's 18 now) and he flipped when he saw it. The one I bought was made by Kolpin, but it was Chinese. Now issues at all with it and when he out grew it, I sold it in a heart beat. A lot of people looking for good used kids quads.

 

Yeah..switch the back tires around and I would wait a little longer than 20 mins before you switch to synthetic oil…unless you meant 20 miles…IMHO

Just changed the oil. She got to ride super slow in the yard. Loved it. Little one is on the electric one. Can't wait to get it up to the cabin.

Careful though, some members might feel atv's shouldn't be hot pink. I think it looks fabulous!
