There was an empty box by a cash register but the guy didn't know where it was . I called yesterday afternoon and spoke to a manager and asked if they could save the three that they had . He said there were two but because it was a special , he couldn't put them on hold and to call back at 9:30 . He said if they hadn't sold them by closing he could hold them the following day (today) . For 40 bucks , those little cameras are great ! I had never heard of them until you mention them . Now , thanks to you , I have 4 of the Moultrie TRACE cameras .

Other deal I missed was a 3.5-10 40mm Leopold vx3 for $299 after rebate at cabelas. Sold out...

Every Leupold dealer has the $100 off the VX3 line.

Discontinuing early next year for a revamp.

Try calling around some other dealers.

My wife grabbed the display model. Only reason I know.

The empty box was at the counter . Did she get that also ?  It probably had the strap and the mounting device . $40 is a steal  for that price . Didn't you sell 2 of those for $40 each a few months ago ?

Right, but they had $150 off plus the $100 rebate. That's a $550 scope for $300. A vx2 will run you $250 on sale, so that was a hell of a deal.

Stopped at the cabelas in buffalo on the way home. Guy said they sold out of all them early in the morning.

That is a great deal.....

Optics Planet had some decent discounts plus the rebate......even applied a bonus card I had for $50 on top of discounts.

There's some good glass around right now for terrific pricing.

I know what it said, I was excited but the employees clarified it was just their generic stuff. Poor advertising in my opinion.

I actually bought the vx3 off optics planet yesterday. They had it marked down plus another 11% off and free shipping. When I did the math with rebate I paid only $5 more than the cabelas price because I didn't pay tax. $340 I think?
