Taylormike
determined. You guys and gals really need to be acknowledged at how hard and dedicated you still are at the end of season. I mean, I hunt archery very hard and then maybe a day or two with the gun but to continue all the way up to the end is awesome. I love reading the live thread and notice sightings are a rare thing this late but you keep at it... Go shoot some some big guys! turkeyfeathers
Sleeping in and warmth in the stand are overrated . The woods, whether it be deer hunting or spring bird hunting is my happy place. As long as I have a tag or two I'll be out there to the bitter end. It's not all about the harvest and taking something home. That's important but just being there is more important. The mysterious sounds you get to hear, the animals and birds you encounter, I learn something each and every time I'm out there broadening my knowledge.
BigVal
I'm usually slowing down by now but the sightings of two bucks I'm after recently sparked my fire again. I'll be out early tomorrow.
Paula
Just when I think I will give up I then see a deer. But it's still nice out and I like being out there.
crappyice
3s goes till New Year's Eve (bow only) and it looks like I will need that long to fill a tag! Would love some snow but the best chance I have of seeing snow this warm fall is an old pile from last winter! Jeremy K
I had just stood up and folded my chair up when i looked over my shoulder and saw the does in the field. I had not seen one in so long i had to make sure i wasn't going crazy.

From someone who hasn't bagged one in longer than I care to admit. I find the most joy in just being outside away from it all. Coming home empty is still better than a good day at work and I love my job....... Well most days lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
