Anyone hunt any of these?  Any deer there?  They seem pretty wet.  Any pics?

they are very wet hence the reason they make up the alabama swamps there are deer there but it will take awhile to figure out how to hunt them and when to use what techniques most of the land is swamps but there are also grasslands for pheasants songbirds ect.

One of the things you are going to have to put up with are the duck hunters. I have duck hunted them and done very well. During that I have seen quite a few deer but I would be tough hunting. There are drier areas and a topo will probably help.

Those who put in effort with some intellect seem to pull great deer out of those areas.

Duck hunters have every right to be there as you do...use that to your advantage

Ya I hunt there and fish there many times, It is known mostly for the ducks there and that area is geared more towards the waterfowler but there are some big old swamp bucks there to. It is funny cause when you get on a buck in those swamps they almost look darker than the normal deer and draging a buck out of the swamps is no picnic

Ive hunted there a few times. Seen some deer, but I havent spent enough time there to say I know the area very well.

I hunt in there all the time, been hunting it since the early 70's.  Still places I haven't been in yet.

There are some excellent deer in there, just have to put in the time and effort to locate them and then figure

them out.

Duck hunters are a big advantage during the early archery season, as they keep the deer moving.

Most will even  help you drag a deer out of they are there.

The State area's are cut into pieces by dikes,(some of them) so it is pretty simple to navigate.

The Federal side is a horse of a different color.

Your best friend will be your GPS or compass and topo maps.  You can use a boat without a motor in some area's. BUT, not everywhere.
