Help Track ID ?

[Water Rat]

Cut this track this morning while turkey hunting ( not the tire track).

I'm 99.9% sure what kind of critter made it. I would appreciate it if the membership would confirm it for me .

I know it's not a mountain lion or a bigfoot. Lol   The shot shell measures 3". (Federal 3 1/2"  # 6's).

Looks like a large dog.

neighbors 7 yr old rottweiler

160 lb male Timber wolf, heading northeast about 3 hours 12 minutes before photo was taken.

May be walking with a limp due to the obvious thorn impression in the pad.

Or just  maybe the other guys are right and it's just an overgrown lap dog.
