Lunker Stripers or strippers

Went out Thursday evening and caught some oh so nice stripers.  Check it out..

where were you? Did you get them up the hudson?

. gonna do a summer trip out of montauk. caught a real lunker last summer, and killed the sea bass as well.

Hudson River for those.  Snotty foggy rolly night but totally worth it.

I have a short  " Lunker Stripper"  story to tell...

 

Back around 1968 or 69,  I went  up to Gasport to hunt pheasants opening day, back when there WERE lots of pheasants to hunt.

 

Three of us drove into Buffalo and visited a few ballets on Chippewa Street the night before season opened.

 

One of the places had a girl dancing who must have weighed 400 pounds..She looked kinda like LULU on  Hee Haw..

 

One of the guys that was with me was fascinated by her and was right up front watching her jiggle around the stage.

 

She finally looked down at him and said " You ain't MAN enough, Honey !..."

Nothing like fresh striped bass. Sometimes we chunk them and deep fry…so good!
