Just went out for a ciggy and was watching a storm move up from Ravena north. Thunder is pretty nasty but not hearing rain in the trees yet. They said we might get a small part of that storm slammin' LA, western NY, and the high AKD's. Lights just started flickering. My dog hates storms, she's in here with me in my office and not moving anytime soon.

It just passed through the Geneva area a while ago so I disconnected the internet cable and read a book for an hour. It was more bark than bite, but I lost a laptop modem to a nearby lightening strike a few years ago so I don't take chances any more.

That was actually pretty cool. Too bad it did nothing for the dew point and humidity.

We have nothing down here in Westchester.Just came home from dinner and the humidity is still nasty.

The one here was over quick. Lake George had an issue with a lightning strike in a park yesterday, and Caroga Lake got slammed last night. News said a lot of people in the Saratoga and some surrounding areas were without power for a long time. I didn't really follow up on the news. But I guess some areas really got hammered.

We got it last night...coed th I happen enough to candidacy and bake a fresh BlackBerry pie....hoping it stays cool for a decent nights sleep...we have no air conditioning just fans.

OMG I should say so!....lol..So it cooled it down enough to do some canning and bake the black berry pie.
