rotorooter23
Have been having some good camera pulls lately. Ran into this buck the last few pulls and am having a hard time guessing his age. What do you think? I have him at 2 1/2 i think.

Grizz1219
I'm thinking 3 1/2.... belly is a lot lower towards his hind quarters than a 2 year old's would be... I think any ways..
bugsNbows
I'd also suggest 3 1/2.

dbHunterNY
I'm guessing 2.5 - 3.5 but have reservations. you should know that aging characteristics that are typically thrown out there including in this thread are based on the buck having hard antlers and higher testosterone levels. they bulk up quite a bit and you can be a bit off aging deer in the summer. it's a respectable buck anywhere in the state.
