Spent a little while observing deer in a spot where we have permission to hunt . Saw several deer but got some close-ups of a buck , fawn , coyote and doe .

Nice buck, nice coloring on yote (like a red fox). It hasn't rained enough to wash the spots off that cute fawn

That was a decent sized yote . Many of the farmers like them as they keep the deer population down . I have been told by a couple farmers never to shoot a coyote on their property .

nice pics!! I think yote do more damage to small game population than to deer for the most part.

I agree. I think the yotes and the removal of hedge rows is the reason that there are so few pheasants around.
I do as the farmers wish so I don't lose any hunting rights

Great pics! I think the growing bear population is having an effect on fawns as well.

I bet that is a great area to hunt. I can honestly say I have yet to see a coyote ever in NY for some reason. Been here a decade.

Come to Sullivan county I see them all the time and hear them every night when I'm at camp
