SuperMag
Deer Hunting in the Adirondacks by Dan Ladd is a great book. Especially if you hunt the big woods. Dan Ladd also runs the adkhunter website. Great site with a lot of knowledge and new pictures uploaded constantly. The_Real_TCIII
Even though it's practically a kids book I still read Where the Red Fern Grows every few years. Also The Yearling is an amazing book

adkhunter71
A Traditional Bowhunter's Path: Lessons and Adventures at Full Draw by Ron Rohrbaugh. It's a really good blend of how to and hunting stories. Ron's a great guy and lives in New York. https://www.amazon.com/Traditional-Bowhunters-Path-Lessons-Adventures-ebook/dp/B01GBU3YAK
Buckmaster7600
Compass country by dale wood. It's about a fella that had a tent camp in the ADKS and hunted with family and friends. It's digital as well so you can get it on your phone. Excellent read about big woods hunting and camps.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
left field
Not a hunting book per se, but one of the best outdoors books I've ever read. Written in 1907, the advice is still relevant for anyone who ventures into the woods today. I reach for this again and again. Camp and Trail by Stewart Edward White. And for all the 15-year-old kids who dreamed of living off the land in the Catskills, My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George is the bible.
