Y I noticed same thing, lack of rubs and scrapes. A very few around. Usually many many more.  I am seeing bucks on the trail cam.

Oh man... I hope its western 7F. Im 7H bound in the AM.  MY buddy did txt me from NW 7H and said he saw a nice buck out in the field about an hour ago. Gotta be going.

It's actually a wooded area in a housing development they are by the road if the video worked you would see them drive up in the truck ..

I'm thinking that the deer decided to leave NY this year and head to sunny Florida for a vacation until the season is over. Deer activity is really low in 3H. Must be the warm weather. Once the cold temps hit the rut should takeoff in earnest!

I was just reminded how fast things can happen.  I was watching a doe and fawn in front of the house when another doe came running out of the woods with a buck hot on her trail.  No time to even put binoculars on him, and they haven't been back.

Lots of dead deer on the highway from Steuben county to Chemung, I believe they are chasing full bore now.
