  1. More than likely not, but there is always a slim chance.
  2. Very cool rack, two or three more years and that thing would be a freak.
  3. I have plenty of ammo, but I am running low on .308 125gr Nosler Accubonds. Been looking high and low with no luck, I use these in my Savage Striker pistol ... if anyone has a lead on where I might find a box or three, let me know.
  4. I ride part way, usually park 800-1000 yards away from my stand.
  5. Yeah buddy! ...that's a stud for sure, hope you get him.
  6. Nice bird, reminds me of the one I killed last spring...congrats! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The orange / yellow one looks like chiken of the woods...its edible, but don't take my word for it. Find some one who knows shrooms in your area and have them confirm. How old are these pics?
  8. The thrill of the chase, not knowing what might just be coming down the trail. The beauty of just feeling alive and one with nature, appreciating the masterpiece our creator bestowed us with...there is no better way to recharge our mental batteries than being outdoors.
  9. Nice buck, congratulations! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Around 4pm I heard a shot from the direction my buddy Gary was hunting, and within a few minutes my cell phone was going off. I knew he must have shot a buck because he never calls that quickly after shooting a deer. He started to to tell me he had shot a big 10 or an 8 point, but he wasn't sure since he hadn't got to it, I told him I would be down to give him a had shortly. So I jumped on my quad and road down to where my other buddy was hunting out of a shooting house and we set off to find Gary. It didn't take long until we spotted his orange vest through the timber, and there lay this beast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. That's what i'm talking about ...nice! Man I hope your friend gets to put his tag on that brute.
  15. I have all of the late ML season off, been sick as a dog for over a week now and never left the house after I got home from work Friday until this morning when I left for work. So I'm gonna give it hell for 11 days straight starting this Saturday...hopefully I will have shaken this rotten cold loose by then.
  16. Leupold VX-R 3-12, 50mm objective with a 30mm tube. I have this scope on my Kimber, it has the ballistic firedot, only with a 40mm objective. It’s a real nice scope, and the illuminated dot in the center of the crosshair is great in low light.
  17. Congrats! Nice buck for sure! How do you like those Parker bullets, what kind of groups are you getting?
  18. I have been hunting with a 10ML II for the past 14 years, I used it exclusively all season before they legalized rifles in my area. This gun will go to the grave with me, I absolutely love it, it has to be one of the most accurate muzzleloaders ever devised. My choice load for my gun is a non-recommended load of Hogdon Lil-gun at 43.7 grains, with a 250 grain Hornady SST and a MMP sabot, she is doing about 2475-2500 fps! You can substitute a Hornady 250 grain .452 diameter XTP as well. They group about an inch at 100 yards....get yourself a Spin jag if you do not already own one, it will make loading easier and better accuracy shot to shot. Good luck with that rifle, it’s a bute, and you got one hell of a deal on it, I believe I paid that nearly 15 years ago when I bought mine.
  19. Congrats to the young man, its one of the few moments in life he'll never forget ...good times!!
  20. My buddie Bill when and picked up his buck last night from the processor and they told him that there was not a neck roast in with the rest of the meat as he had requested. They went on to tell him that someone had shot it in the neck, and the tissue had healed around the broadhead of the arrow which left a hard mass of tissue in the neck. So, yes they can take a hell of a beating, they are extremely tough animals, sucks that they have to go through this sort of thing, but when it comes to hunting Newton's Law is always at the ready.
  21. Very nice! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
