biggamefish
Why do you use a drag and not just pour the sent on the bottom of your boots?
ATbuckhunter
If you pour it on your feet, they might follow the scent right to the base of your tree. They do have removable felt things that can go over your boot so you can pour the scent on it and then remove it so you don't track the scent right to your stand. turkeyfeathers
Not sure why I wouldn't want a deer follow me right to my stand I would think a scent drag would leave a more evenly distributed 'scent" Where as a "poured" on boots most of the scent would be dispersed at the beginning perhaps being over powering Just my .

With a gun these are still good shots. Maybe im too picky with my shots with a bow, but I never wanted to have a buck sniffing right where I climbed and have a good chance of no being able to shoot it.

That's why when I get 15yds from my stand I make a loop or 2 then hang the drag somewhere.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

NYBowhunter
I place it on the bottom of my boot and freshen it every once in a while as i walk, when i get to stand i will pour a generous amount about 10 yards away from treestamd on a treelimb.
