My father with a buck from  Letchworth park .The double was my grandfather's Lefever.The pump against the fence may be my father's J.C. Higgins modified choke with a bead sight.Both 12 ga.

I had a hat just like that..It was red...Somewhere I have a picture of myself wearing it and holding my first  red fox, which I trapped in 1960 or 1961...

I was thinking maybe Valiant also.. I don't remember the Savoy..Was that Dodge's version of the Valiant..??  Could it be a Dodge Dart..??..

I'll check with my dad and see if he remembers.It had to have been a few years old and built like a tank I'm sure.May be early 60's or late 50's whatever it is.

My father thinks it was a 62  Dodge Dart.From Weller Dodge by the Stutson St. bridge over the Genesee river in Rochester.

The Savoy was Plymouth's version of the Dodge Coronet I believe. Definitely not a 62 Dart, I had one and the rear fenders have a very obvious line on them.

My parents had a 68 dart with a slant six and nothing power in it. Was the car I took my drivers test with, always fun to parrallel park with no power stearing. Great car though, my Dad finally took it to the junk yrd, was very hard to find parts for it.

Ive had a 62 Wagon and a 73 Swinger. Loved both, gave them both up at times when other responsibilities and obligations called.

My ex-wife had a '63 330 slant six... It was a school car and her Dad bought it at auction for $300.. She drove it through her college years...

It was a great car...Standard shift on the column... It would probably STILL be running except she thought that you should wait until the idiot light comes on before you check the oil.... : ...

My one and only Dodge was a '57 Coronet, that I bought used for $300 in 1969......Air conditioned, push button tranny, 360 and 4 barrel...  Had a back seat like a COUCH... :-* ... :-* ... :-* ...
