132 eight pointer Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 I missed this until tonight.Excellent video.I had heard the French had air rifles but I never knew about Lewis and Clarke.Amazing technology,I wonder why these guns were never massed produced.By the civil war I would have believed an easier air compression would have been developed.It is probably better that this type of weapon wasn't used during the American Civil War.My guess is these were too expensive to produce.(?)
