How much did he weigh?

Just picked up my meat and cape from my buck. The box of meat weighed 72.8lbs. Any way to guess live weight based off that?

ive often heard 40-50% meat yield too  But seeing pic of your buck I'd guess 170 all day long.

I asked because I saw that site and couldn't believe the buck would've weighed 150 live weight. I guess it's time I just buy a hanging scale.

I would figure around 160.

Have to find out if you had any fat added to your burger/sausage.... how much was added, but 40-50% is a good starting point..
