fasteddie
The female Piliated Woodpecker has been back each day for a week . Got her with the cheap Bresser game camera . Here is a pic from the cam and then cropped and lightened .
Curmudgeon
Eddie, If you have suet out now, I'm guessing you don't have many bears around. Good shot. I've got pileated around but never at the feeder.
fasteddie
I have another suet feeder next to a post so she can hang onto the the post and feed easier . When I am outside I can hear her before she comes in so I get out of sight so I don't scare her . Havn't seen the male yet this year . LET EM GROW
I do not miss the woodpecker that would come by nearly every summer on and off throughout.. pecking the hell out of the chimney pipe on the house at 6am. It was every morning for the longest time. Other than that they are neat to watch.

grampy
The Mrs. puts a flower basket on top for the summer. But the way he's going at it, there won't be much left when he's done! Wish wooly was here. He would have gotten much better pictures! Edited May 26, 2017 by grampy
