Trail Cam Question

May try these for a couple security cams.

I've got some of the Gen 2 cams but not that specific one . For me ,moultrie has taken a couple steps backwards .

 

The Gen 2 cams I have I think they are the 888 and 888I have been working flawlessly for the past few years .

If you want camera for security why not just get a few less expensive and motion lights

I bought a couple from Dicks thru their 24 hour sale for about $ 35.00 and they work out great , red flash and set the time and date on a PC and away you go !  They are Primos Cams . I do not believe the can record videos but I don't care !

The Gen 2 cams you do not have to set time on pc like you do a Tasco cam, and the Gen 2 has video also. I have 2 of them and I am satisfied pretty much, but they are sensitive so you won't want have any branches in front or will get a ton of pics from branches, brush setting it off.

Motion lights are not allowed in the park according to land lease agreement ( why is beyond me, guessing neighbors would complain ). I had thought about that.

My reasoning for getting at least decent trail cams was in the event I do ever decide to use them for hunting. Would rather pay a little more now, then have to buy more later.
