Deer Activity in western ny

Haven't made it out yet, hopefully I can get out sunday. how's the deer movement in western NY

Well hunted youth hunt on Saturday morning and saw zero/ Sunday afternoon and PM hunt, nothing again/ Monday morning in pouring rain and nothing. Too dang hot but with temps dropping they'll be moving more now. Sunday night almost every cut field or cut corn field held deer on the way home. Trail cam pics from week before were non existent as well. Folks are seeing some rubs and scrapes as of lately so that's good. And light sparring of bucks. It's close !

Sunday opener I saw a group of 4 ,4 pointers , 3 doe group ,a doe with fawn being harassed by a button buck. This past Friday I saw 2 decent bucks in the field and 5 doe all at the same time,the bucks were next to each.other and didn't give a rats about the doe. I'm gonna set up a climber where those bucks are making an entrance into the field. Past Saturday was a complete bust .

Sunday opener had a group of what it looked like 3 does moving around 9am back into the thick stuff and a nice looked to be a decent 8pt moving at 8am.havent been out sence but hoping to this weekend

I have seen a deer in range every sit morning and evening.. Missed a nice 8 last evening ..little branch got me..it's no longer there.. I hunt till 9 am and get in stand at 5pm.. Deer move 8am to 9 and 550 to 615 where I am
