NonTypical
I came across this rub tonight. It snowed here yesterday morning. So it was torn up sometime in the last 24 hours. They are still holding here. I also have some pics from last week and it appears that there was a hot doe in the area.

NonTypical
My target buck was the 9 with the split g2 in the last 2 pics. I passed on the wide 8 at one point. Hopefully I can still hunt there next year. The new landowner has plans to build there. There are also other tree stands nearby, so hopefully I can get it done in the early season.
First-light
We were out last Thursday. Then again on Monday same area. Found a decent size pine rubbed up that wasn't that way on Thursday. I'm positive. Check station said they had a buck come in over the weekend with horns.
NonTypical
This buck was taken last night by a friend of a friend. Still plenty of big ones still holding.
Buckstopshere
Very cool indeed. Just as that waxing Blue moon was almost full. I've seen sign of January ruts...rubs and scrapes torn up in the snow and frozen post Christmas ground in bygone years...but no photos from the cams. Thanks for posting. If that doe gets inseminated, it would be a very late fawn when it hits the ground...one of those few spotted ones we see in the following bow season.
