It's their right to have their views. But this is approaching coercion under RICO statutes. The Federal government even tried this just a few years ago and had to back down. I'd have to look up all the pertinent info because I don't remember much off the top of my head. Obama and Holder decided that the way to shut down the gun industry was to not allow banks to give loans to manufacturers and retailers...

It's a bullying tactic, and they don't realize that bullies often get punched back.

So 20,000 members of their 1.7 million members are "threatening" to get out of their Wells Fargo mortgage?  Does not the NRA have something like THREE time the membership of AFT?

Before a teacher could carry a handgun they would need a background investigation.  I wonder if the American Federation of Teachers are concerned that information about some of the teachers backgrounds might be "embarrassing"?

Good point . many teachers have been arrested for various infractions . I doubt they would try to get a handgun permit .

Haha that isn't even a blip for them, and they will "urge members". You know much of a pain it is to re-finance and if there are lower rates out there? I highly doubt out of those 20,000 they all will bet next to none will.
