GreeneHunter
Well an older Gentleman near our house decided he no longer wanted to stare at his Pontoon Boat in his yard ( has not moved in two years ) so when my wife and I were BS'ing with him one day he mentioned he is either going to give the boat to one of his kids or sell it . I immediately volunteered to be one of his kids , yeah he got a chuckle out of that but no go . So my wife and I looked it over and he said he wanted to get $ 5000.00 out of it and we shook hands and its a done deal . He's cleaning it up and going to check / charge the batteries too make sure they are good to go . When the main battery is charged up (and holding a charge) he's going to fire up the engine . He emptied the gas tank and put in fresh gas to be sure the Engine is good to go ! We're going to keep it on the Hudson River at a small yacht club . Its going to need a new Rag Top . 40 HP Mercury and a Trolling Motor up front . Should be fun .... wish us luck !
