Is there a Ground Hog....   Wood Chuck season ?

We have 1 eating the garden,   and I don't want to take him out of season.   I'd rather stuff him for the fireplace mantle in prime fur.

My labs have always hit a woodchuck going full bore, and then shook the PISS out of them...Game over for "Chuckie"....

I ran over one last week came out from tall grass along the side of road and it went "bang" and did a roll as I looked out rear view mirror.
