Here's another news flash....NY takes every ones picture when you go through the tolls, whether you take the toll ticket or use the ez pass its the same. So the next time you are on your way through the tolls, smile and wave. I know vjp, clearly they are taking our freedom to not pay for tolls away from us.

No they're not.  You can choose to drive on roads that don't have tolls, like I do.  You seem to be OK with invasion of privacy though.  All of the information you give to EZ Pass is very useful to lots of people.  They refer to the masses as "useful idiots".

Reminds me of some of the locals in Subic Bay, PI. But that was a different time. 

Never used that service. But I do wonder why they would reconstruct a major section between Ex40 & 690 with concrete? Gives me 81 flashbacks.

I have EZPass, Im not worried if they see what toll booths I go through. I use it in multiple cars like they tell you not to, been doing it for a long time with no problems. As far as handing over my address and car registration info, well the state already has that stuff anyway.

Ive heard almost the same article written before, but I dont feel that theres anything to worry about unless you are doing some serious speeding anyway. I really wish we could get the high speed EZPass lanes like PA and other states have. You dont even slow down going through them.

Let me get this straight.  VJP, are you saying that you purposely avoid certain roads because of tolls or because of privacy concerns due to EZ pass.  It must take an awful lot of time and effort to come up with so many things to be suspicious about.

My travels allow me choices that do not take any extra drive time and are often fewer miles as well.  It only takes an awful lot of time and effort to understand reality when one is simple minded.  I think you just had an epiphany.
