There's no natural water source within miles of my house and the critters know it. They have me trained to fill the bird baths daily.

Hmmmm..I have never been ANYWHERE in NYS where there was not a natural water source within a mile or less...

I know the post was humor, but it got me thinking...I really can't think of anyplace I have ever been in the northeast where there an issue with game finding water, except maybe in winter when many sources are frozen...Out west.. Hell YES...It is not uncommon for game animals such as elk to travel 8-10 miles ( one way) daily for water...
