It was a very good day.   Dressed weight 160 pounds.  Been hunting deer 48 seasons now.  This year hunting alone, dragging it out and hanging it in the shed by myself.  I guess at 63 years old, I'm not that old after all.

Very nice. Hunted in carmel yesterday. Saw 2 does. No buck after it though. Have you hunted ninham before?

My neighbor still does it all at 82years young and I bet hes in much better shape than most 45 year olds I know....

Speaking of opening day 8 pointers...

Not nearly the buck you took, rattler. But this take on a european my boss did on his is unique and cool. Taken at 4:15pm 2018 opening day. Dressed weight nowhere near 160, more like 120-130. 

Skull glazed, i think it looks cool.

I like that.  I considered a European skull mount for this deer, but the price was about half the cost of a shoulder mount, so I decided to just go with that.  I find the prices charged for skull mounts to be excessive.  How much was the cost for this one?
