No need for ranging

Didn't go out this morning as I had to take the car into the shop. Walk through the house and look out the window at the backyard target range and see her hanging out at the 100 yard target. Hung around for a while. Wasn't bothered by me taking the dogs out. I never shoot them from the house (yet) so I think she feels pretty safe. Doe tag in my pocket too.

Me either but the way this season has been I more than likely will if given the opportunity.

That deer wouldn't have been safe around me. Looks like a tractor-friendly pick-up area too. On the other hand, the deer and squirrels get really nervous when I take the screens out of my windows. I swear they pay attention.

it's a young doe.let it get some fawns under it and train them to take to that area and you have more behind the house.
