Card reader.

Recently upgraded to samsung  s9. My moultry card reader with usb-c adapter plugged  in . Phone doesn't reconize  it  not at all. Card reader is 2 years old and works on my old s7. Is there anybody.out there that can tell me if there's an setting that has to be turned on ?

Try opening the file folder in your settings I had to do that with my old LG phone. You should be able to view them in there.

Could be a couple things go to settings then accessibility and turn on your usb debugging. Or like Cory said go to your apps look for my files or file manager go to dcim and your folder should be there.

My samsung active 6 used to read the SD cards all the time , now it doesn't do anything ,i spent an hour trying to figure it out over the weekend .

Ok there is no usb  debugging in can find . I don't even get a prompt that its connecting to card  reader through usb. I am at a loss.

Took the phone to Verizon  they activated usb debugging. No joy. Bought a new usb c card reader now in back in action. Apparently new phone doesn't like my old moultry card reader.

My phone will only read cards if every other app is closed. Otherwise it won’t even recognize that the card reader is plugged in.
