whats going on, I'm new to the area, (just moved to dutchess county).. recently discharged from the ARMY and now attending school. majority of my experience is in desert/high desert spot and stalk hunting South western U.S.  look forward to the upcoming season. hope to contribute as much as i gain here

I live in southern Dutchess as well. Deer hunting here is about as different as it can be from desert spot and stalk.

as far as location, I am not sure, I live in northern portion.. and play frogger dear addition every day going to and from any where.. so i would love to be able to drive 20 min from home and fill a tag.. I used to drive up to 4 hrs and hope to SEE a deer not to mention leg work.. yes desert seems bit different, but do north eastern dear know when the season starts too??

alibi..  any info on bear in this area would be much appreciated.. heard some stories from the locals..(i guess that'd be me now too)..
