secomnd year in a row for not getting 6c. I got a second choice got 8j. Mailed it to my buddy down there. In my area, maybe every three or four years I get one.But I guess that is how it is.

I got 9H ( home) and 9M, and my son ( 14) got 9M and 9G.

BTW, yesterday was the first day we saw a lone buck in the back yard, whereas up until now, the bucks and does were mingled. RUT IS ON FULL! At least in a little corner of 9H.

I got 9m and 9h.  Unfortunately my landowner permission in 9h may have been revoked as the old lady forgot she gave me permission and now has to "consider it."  Oh well, what are you gonna do?

This is a region 9 thread... But I am happy to hear you have one!

I was very lucky to get a 9X doe tag this year. It's been two years since I've had the fortune to draw one.. took 2 preference points. I always find this interesting because there are very large deer populations in very localized areas (all winter last year I had a group of 16-18 come through my yard daily!). Determining the deer density must be difficult for the DEC in some areas.
