Is this ginseng?

I found these today they had red berries on the stalk but no leaves seeing how it's fall. The roots look pretty similar but long and skinny. They were growing on a big rock in a forest so I think that might be why they look so different. Because they only had 2 of 3 inches to grow down maybe?

Search ginseng in threads. Been a few over the years 

first couple pics looks my wiring behind my tv with surround sound , wii , dvr , vhs , etc

I've been looking online all-day and can't find any sound way of identifying it.

I think you should have taken pictures of the Leafs

Looks like just plain bush or tree roots to me. Also much too long for sang roots. The pronounced segregated lines on what you have are not found on the ginseng roots.

It's not bush or tree roots though it had the red berries a single stalk growing out on top of an old large rock in the woods the soil was really dark and moist but not very deep so it couldn't grow down.
