Nytracker
I hunt 29 acres . Real thick stuff. I have 4 stands running for the most part north to south acrossed property. Property is a basic rectangle.. stands run narrower sides. Stands are set up in pines that were left after clear cutting 25 years ago.. I hunted 4 hrs saturday and 9 hours yesterday. Most deer came from behind me but I was never busted . Even with the wind in my face all day. Forgot to set the alarm today so I didn't get up to go this morning . I usually sit 2 days and give it a day rest and go fishing or something . After seeing the 8 pt yesterday I really want to be there. What do you guys think ? If the deer are in there right now then you need to be too. Stand burnout only really occurs if you're alerting deer to your presence on a regular basis. Access and exit it smart and only use it on good wind and hunt it as much as you need to. That's my opinion. Not much left now and bucks from other areas will be moving as well. I would say hunt it , time is getting short

hunterdan44
Gotta hunt em where they are now. If I see activity at a certain stand this time of year I hunt it. Wind is certainly a factor but not as critical to me as getting where they are especially when the chase is on .Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nytracker
Back in the stand. Looks like a november sleigh ride for the evening. Kind of breezy.
