can anyone recommend a good butcher around the hudson area or 4t-4y thank's. the guy we used last year is moving.

I hunt in 4Y.

I use Milafi in Milan, NY. He is off of route 199, Milan Hill Road. He is expensive, but his product is top notch. Vacuum saves everything too. Check him out. I will always pay the extra money for good, clean product. Sausage is to die for.

I agree. I always do it myself. You don't know what or how much you'll get back from the butchers. Invest in a good meat grinder and a food saver and you're set.

We hunt the Greenport/Hudson area. cant wait till saturday! i checked the trail cameras last weekend things look good a few nice bucks. we have coyotes on the cameras in greenport.we have not seen any there in 3 years or so. how does it look by you this year?

I also use Malafy in Milan . He does a great job. You should just check his operation out, even if you dont use him. Pretty impressive. Check out his web site.

yes very exp im glad i learned to do myself saves time money and travle it really not that dont know if you get your deer or some ones

He is expensive. For $120 you can get a grinder, some sharp knives and DIY!
