Alright - 1 week to go & a wake up!

Who's got a yellow tag(s) & who else is goin?

Bow is on the money, practicing with the 3-d, 20-30 yards & elevated. Clothing/camo washed & treated. Camper is ready to go - supplies, firewood - enough to cook a horse. Spare boots, lots of dry socks, jazz like that. Would be cool to write this tag then just camp out untill the 1st. Just like a whole new opener, got that week off to. We'll see how my luck holds out, tell you what been waitin for this & I'm ready.

I am going to go, but I am not using the bow. I am using the rifle. I am going to try to whack a bear. Seeing a lot of activity. I think I need to exercise the 300 savage a bit.

I'll be out starting Thursday night, I live in the NZ so I just go after work and the weekend when I can. I hope I can pull a "fantail" and kill one or two before the 10/1 opener like you did last year!

Two days & a wake up - forcast isn't so dry but compared to last year when it rained for 6 days straight - bring it on.

I'll be out there....can't wait! I washed my hunting clothes today and hung them out on the back porch because it was threatening to rain. Been practicing with the bow daily. Not seeing many pics on the cameras though, that has me a little concerned.

Still have a yellow tag. I try to save one every year well atleast thats my story lol. Im all prepped and pumped up. Rain in the forcast sucks however. Rain and bowhunting are not best of friends. Whats on the trail cams in my early opener spots, Well I dont know I will when I get out of the first one and take the card out. I do know there have been alot of does and fawns on the foodplot cam and the one in the apples before they all rotted or got eaten showed all does and fawns. Good by me where theres does the buck will come. Great thing about Northern tier early opener, all I do is walk out my front door and decide what stand Im walking too today. Oh its great having a camp in southern tier as well. Good luck Bowhunters.

Not sure if I will be out though. 80 degrees and rain just don't sound like much fun. I will probably wait a day or two.

Nothing here. Way way to warm and havent seen anything moving. We will see what tomarrow brings. Last day and las chance to fill the unfilled tag from last season. Goodbye 2010-2011 hunting season it was fun lol.

I finally got out yesterday morning for 3.5 hours. I didn't see a single deer moving. I did have about 20 turkeys at 15 yards about 10am. But they will have to wait till season opens this weekend. Looks like a nasty opener tomorrow.
