Sure--  Just like October Bow Deer Hunting is for countless members here.

truthfully, i look forward to may 1, far more than 10/1. turkey starts with a bang and gets worse, deer starts slow then peeks and fades again. The concentrated 31 days of turkey is great and it's finally starting to warm up and the woods are awake vs dying.

I love May 1 but for me the season always gets better as it goes. The first ten days are a dark carnival of henned up Toms

Spring is my Favorite out of the 4.  And a number of Governor's want more people out of doors in the Fresh Air now. Not too long now!

on a more serious note, i'm an advocate for more people getting outdoors and for more hunters. But selfishly, I think we all also like being the only guy in the woods. I'd be curious what this will do for public land hunters. I don't suspect more hunters, but you may def see more hikers, bikers and mushroom pickers...

that would sure suck to have a beard dragger coming in only to get spooked by some guy with a man bun and skinny jeans crying about a pricker bush.

A year or two ago, my friend Chris was in his tree doing some deer hunting. Along comes this dude on a mountain bike. Chris waits until he is almost directly under him and shouts something like, "I'm trying to hunt here". The guy falls off his bike, then picks it up and hightailed it outta there. I wish I was there to see that!! :taunt:
