Wait until 4/15/21 when the unemployed find out how much they owe in taxes and didn't put any aside.  The Democrats will say that needs to be forgiven too.

The one kid i work with got layed off and is bringing home more than his father,whos been with the company 35+years.ridiculous to say the least,not happy!!!

Mark my word, within weeks the Democrats will be pushing "Universal Basic Income", where everyone who doesn't work gets a government check every week.  If you don't believe it, search in on the computer.  It's real!  It's the beginning of Socialism.  Get enough morons to vote for it and it's here.

Friend owns a factory , he was able to, keep half working ,as half his business is in defense contracts . The ones laid off are making more money then the working ones !

He’s going to pay them a bonus , as I sees the BS in this .

I always understood "unemployment payments" to be less than regular pay, but enough to pay for the real essentials.

With so many people potentially collecting full pay to sit home, I wonder how many will really want to actually get back to work?

If their employer calls them back and they do not report, they become ineligible for benefits.  That’s what we (business owners) are being told, but it will not surprise me if NYS decides that won’t apply.
