Jennifer
Saw a momma bear and her two cubs yesterday in 9X, very cool. We've never seen it before so we were excited-- we don't bear hunt, we just thought it was neat to see.

Never seen a bear at the DMV in my neck of the woods Sorry just having fun. Seriously considering a bear hunt next year but i don't know alot about it. Probably would be very cool to see one, it's contrast up close.

SteveNY
I never saw a bear where I hunt in 14 years, then I saw 3 bear 3 years ago while hunting. I saw 5 bear while deer hunting 2 seasons ago, last season saw none, this season none so far (but I see the bear scat all over the woods, some as big around as a soup can!). Had a huge one in the back yard for the last couple months and up on my cousins deck down the block, once season came around I didnt see him any more. SteveNY
Heard of a 450lb bear taken off Denman mountain near Claryville opening day. That may be it in the pic I posted, cause its a beast! Nearby too, it was in Bluehill Lodge. I hunted Denman on Wednesday morning, didn't see anything.
